From my earliest Vegemite concoctions made in the backyard, to formal art training in Graphic Design, Fashion Design and Marketing at College, today the CHRISTOPHER HANLON® brand operates a coveted Luxury Goods business employing a family of artisans. Proudly we now export exquisite products throughout the world. Christopher Hanlon Sydney® has become an Australian lifestyle brand known for its love of outback bush fragrances, luxury products for the bath, body and candles for the home. Plus a capsule collection of superlative leather bags. Rewriting the rules of perfumery with one-of-a-kind perfume notes previously never used, the world of Christopher Hanlon® continues to inspire a (growing) global following.
In my quest to create superior product it is important to remember our humble origins from selling freshly farmed cosmetic produce in Vegemite (and jam) jars at markets to developing Australian Made aluminium jars with 100% refillable contents in 1995. In hindsight it was rare for a 90s cosmetic company in Australia to be focusing on the issue in the luxury beauty sphere. Our brand (possibly) grew quickly because I was personally concerned with efficacious ingredients, locally made and sustainability issues even as a youth. When using our luxury products today, please remember these important historical origins which have existed and continue to exist… decades later.
Indeed, in close pursuit are reports of an international following from legendary Hollywood to renowned local Australian actors, but more importantly – behind closed doors – there are special friends. And friends-of-friends, whom helped to make this possible. Thank you!
