Brand His-Story: Christopher’s original perfume Silver Penny was developed for personal use whilst a design student at college, it was then sold to men particularly in the CBD, Surry Hills, Kings Cross, Darlinghurst and Paddington (Sydney) in the '90s. Each luxurious Christopher Hanlon® pure perfume begins a sensorial journey with a mishmash of essential oils, resins, attars, aromatic absolutes, aroma concretes, twigs, botanical extractions, plant crystals, seeds, leaves, herbal fractions and wild harvested fresh flowers. The brew is slowly fermented to develop Hanlon's® idiosyncratic and sophisticated botanical perfume accords. Once the concoction has reached an optimum age and signature aroma, the blend is carefully mixed and tripple-filtered to exhibit glasslike perfume characteristics. Finally the shimmering maceration is carefully decanted and bottled by the perfumer. Used as either a pure perfume concentrate or blended with other ingredients to produce such things as Eau de Toilette and Body Crème. Whatever the final usage Christopher Hanlon's® coveted perfume concoctions are now fully formed and crystal clear. They are ultimately displayed ever-so-precisely and discreetly in the most private of bathrooms servicing the personal needs of the world's wealthiest, the jet-set, dignitaries, royalty, pop stars and tycoons.
