Each luxurious Christopher Hanlon® pure Perfume (Fr. parfum or extrait) begins a sensorial journey with a mishmash of essential oils, resins, attars, fragrant compounds, aromatic absolutes, aroma concretes, twigs, botanical extractions, plant crystals, seeds, leaves, herbal fractions and wild harvested fresh flowers. This trade secret brew is slowly fermented to develop Hanlon's® idiosyncratic and sophisticated botanical perfume accords. Once the fragrant concoction has reached an optimum age and signature aroma it is carefully blended and tripple-filtered to exhibit glasslike perfume characteristics. Finally this shimmering, sustainable maceration is carefully decanted and bottled by Mr Hanlon’s® own hands. Experienced as either a freshly created pure Perfume concentrate or mixed with other ingredients to produce such things as Eau de Toilette and Body Crème. Whatever the final usage, the coveted concoction is now a fully formed and crystal-clear liquid. Ultimately they are displayed ever-so-precisely and discreetly in the most private of bathrooms servicing the personal needs of the world's wealthiest, the jet set, dignitaries, royalty, pop stars and tycoons. Christopher has recently received Australian Government funding to pursue the discovery and development of his next fragrant adventure. Hopefully another new addition to his oeuvre that is neither French traditional nor classic Italian perfumery, but uniquely Australian.

On closer olfactory observation his signature accords are somewhat more fruity and delicious than mainstream commercial perfume, exhibiting the exceptionally deep and rich aromatic twists from the use of outback botanicals like Lemon Myrtle, Kangaroo Paw and Australian Banksia Absolute.
