Artist Christopher Hanlon® invented a new perfume genre, neither based on traditional top, middle and base notes; nor using regular perfume manufacturing techniques. Christopher adds: ‘I would estimate that 95% of perfumes today are retro in so far as they formulate using the classic 3 tiered hierachy of top, middle and base’. Hanlon’s® revolutionary process allows key base notes to be cancelled as softer notes are ironically amplified, intensely. Add to the equation botanical notes like Australian Bush Potato that have hitherto not been used in perfumery.
