Rocks Gold features Tonka BeanAbsolute to amp up its central accord with heated assistance from sultry Styrax Benzoin Resin (traditionally used in incense applications). Bush Mint and Lime Essences turn this powdery elixir into a harmonic sweet-woody fragrance with traditional warmth but modern aphrodisiac notes. Tonka Bean is a note historically used within men’s fragrances to give the scent a smoother profile. Once used as a vanilla substitute, Tonka Bean Absolute is extracted from the seeds of Dipteryx Odorata. This plant grows in Brazil, Venezuela, Nigeria, Columbia, and Guyana – the main exporters. The beans have subtle notes of Cinnamon, Cherry and Almond with a warm oriental essence. Noble. Long lasting.
This CHRISTOPHER HANLON™ Luxury Candle is artisan made from a mixture of natural wax using soy to enhance the aroma. Recommended burn time is 15 to 30 minutes per session. Standard candle safety precautions apply. Keep away from flammable materials (including surfaces), place in a well ventilated area, on a safe flame-proof surround and out of direct heat. Do not leave unattended. Keep away from children. Insider knowledge: although the scent is a signature blend from the Limited Edition Collection the exact formula has been enhanced to work with wax. Crafting a candle scent is quite different to creating a skin fragrance.

Christopher Hanlon® Perfume is created through the proprietary process Méthode Électromagnétique™ and are quite uncomparable to conventional perfume. Rather than composing the fragrance through the traditional hierarchy of top, middle and base, Hanlon’s® method allows a unified aromatic expression. In contrast, softer accords are often amplified and heavier notes are ironically attenuated. Méthode Électromagnétique™ produces a signature fermented Christopher Hanlon® Perfume that is up to 300% more powerful. Intense, concentrated and longer lasting. Artist Christopher Hanlon® invented the genre, ignoring the 3 tiered tradition, while adopting an unorthodox aromatic interplay. Hanlon® adds: ‘95% of perfumes today are retro, in so far as they formulate according to the classic 3 tiered hierarchy’. The Hanlon® method allows softer notes to be amplified, intensely. Adding to his unique compositions, botanical notes like Australian Bush Potato and the rare Pink Rock Lily are introduced – hitherto unused in perfumery. This blending culminates in fragrances that are more wholistic, pure and distinctive. Christopher Hanlon® invented the process in 1994 using crackpot methods at Paddington Markets which today have been scientifically perfected. Some call it the devotee's raison d'être. His-storical note: based out of Sydney and Geelong today, each fragrance is still weighed, mixed, macerated, aged and filtered to remove remnants of the botanicals by Christopher’s own hand. Natural variations occur. Small batch has been a family tradition of the House of Hanlon® since the 1800s. This craft continues the Art of Hanlon's® perfume making into the future — a timeless take on his-story, bottled.
