Black Jasmine Rose is an ultra-haute ceremonial tier. An opulent concoction of Jasmine Absolute, Rose Absolute, Banksia Absolute, Honey Suckle and Oak. Strengthened with a double shot of Oud and Western Australian Sandalwood. Fresh top notes of Orange, Berry and Mandarin push this dark composition into an aromatique stratosphere. Sublime sensorial delights include Amber, Tuberose, Eucalyptus Blossom, Rose and Lilly of the Valley. Created for the connoisseur. Intense, regal and floral. Black Jasmine Rose is an unapologetic Resinous Jasmine Rose spliced with selected fruity notes of Mango and Manuka. Heavenly.
This CHRISTOPHER HANLON™ Luxury Candle is artisan made from a mixture of natural wax using soy to enhance the aroma. Recommended burn time is 15 to 30 minutes per session. Standard candle safety precautions apply. Keep away from flammable materials (including surfaces), place in a well ventilated area, on a safe flame-proof surround and out of direct heat. Do not leave unattended. Keep away from children. Insider knowledge: although the scent is a signature blend from the Limited Edition Collection the exact formula has been enhanced to work with wax. Crafting a candle scent is quite different to creating a skin fragrance.

Christopher Hanlon® Perfume is created through the proprietary process Méthode Électromagnétique™. Christopher’s perfumes are not comparable to conventional perfumes. Rather than composing fragrance through the traditional hierarchy of top, middle and base, this method allows a unified aromatic expression – where softer accords are ironically amplified and heavier notes are rebalanced. Artist Christopher Hanlon® invented the genre, neither based on traditional top, middle and base notes nor using regular perfume techniques. Hanlon® adds: ‘95% of perfumes today are retro, in so far as they formulate according to the classic 3 tiered hierarchy’. Hanlon’s® process allows softer notes to be amplified intensely. Botanical notes like Australian Bush Potato are added, that have hitherto not been used in perfumery. The blending culminates in signature aromas that are more wholistic, pure and unique. Christopher Hanlon® invented the process in 1994 using crackpot methods at Paddington Markets which today have been scientifically perfected. Some call it the devotee's raison d'être. Others call it perfection.
His-storical note: based out of Sydney and Geelong today, each fragrance is still weighed, mixed, macerated, aged and filtered to remove remnants of the botanicals by Christopher’s own hand. Natural variations occur. Small batch has been a family tradition of the House of Hanlon® since the 1800s. This craft continues the Art of Hanlon's® perfume making into the future — a timeless take on his-story, bottled.
