Melbourne Amber Musk is a luxurious alchemist mixture of Australian White Amber, Honey Suckle, Ambrette Seed (Musk), Oud and Banksia Absolute with a hint of Lemon-Rose. Set within sophisticated base notes of Western Australian Sandalwood, Benzoin and Truffle. The uplifting citrus accord of Yellow Bell and Geelong Lemon adds zing to the repertoire. Further olfactory delights include Tuberose and Lilly of the Valley Absolute. This rare perfume blends one of the world’s most expensive forms of musk (Ambrette Seed Absolute) with mouth watering Orange Blossom and minty Patchouli. A seductive statement of individual style. More importantly Méthode Électromagnétique Fermentation® means that a Christopher Hanlon® Perfume is up to 500% more intense, concentrated and longer lasting than even the most prestigious conventional perfume. Artist Christopher Hanlon® invented a new perfume genre, neither based on traditional top, middle and base notes; nor using regular perfume manufacturing techniques. Christopher adds: ‘I would estimate that 95% of perfumes today are retro in so far as they formulate using the classic 3 tiered hierachy of top, middle and base’. Hanlon’s® revolutionary process allows key base notes to be cancelled as softer notes are ironically amplified, intensely. Add to the equation botanical notes like Australian Bush Potato that have hitherto not been used in perfumery. This bizarre blending culminates in signature aromas that are more wholistic, pure and unique. Christopher Hanlon® invented the process in 1994 using crackpot methods at Paddington Markets which today have been scientifically perfected. Some call it the devotee's raison d'être. His-Storical Note: Based out of Sydney and Geelong today, each fragrance is still weighed, mixed, fermented, macerated and hand filtered to carefully remove remnants of the botanicals by Christopher’s own hand.
