Melbourne Amber Musk is a luxurious alchemist mixture of Australian White Amber, Honey Suckle, Ambrette Seed (Musk), Oud and Banksia Absolute with a hint of Lemon-Rose. Set within sophisticated base notes of Western Australian Sandalwood, Benzoin and Truffle. The uplifting citrus accord of Yellow Bell and Geelong Lemon adds zing to the repertoire. Further olfactory delights include Tuberose and Lilly of the Valley Absolute. This rare perfume blends one of the world’s most expensive forms of musk (Ambrette Seed Absolute) with mouth watering Orange Blossom and minty Patchouli. A seductive statement of individual style. Artist Christopher Hanlon® invented the genre, ignoring the 3 tiered tradition, while adopting an unorthodox aromatic interplay. Hanlon® adds: ‘95% of perfumes today are retro, in so far as they formulate according to the classic 3 tiered hierarchy’. The Hanlon® method allows softer notes to be amplified, intensely. Adding to his unique compositions, botanical notes like Australian Bush Potato are introduced – hitherto unused in perfumery.
