Artist Christopher Hanlon® invented the genre, ignoring the 3 tiered tradition, while adopting an unorthodox aromatic interplay. Hanlon® adds: ‘95% of perfumes today are retro, in so far as they formulate according to the classic 3 tiered hierarchy’. The Hanlon® method allows softer notes to be amplified, intensely. Adding to his unique compositions, botanical notes like Australian Bush Potato are introduced – hitherto unused in perfumery. This blending culminates in fragrances that are more wholistic, pure and distinctive.
