Fresh top notes of Borroloola Lime Berry, Mock Orange and Outback Bush Mint set this dark aromatic composition alight. Christopher Hanlon® Perfume is formulated using a unique process called Méthode Électromagnétique™. What does this mean? As such Christopher’s perfumes cannot be compared to conventional perfumes because notes have been fused displacing various accords and discords. More importantly Méthode Électromagnétique Fermentation™ means that a Christopher Hanlon® Perfume is up to 500% more intense, concentrated and longer lasting than even the most prestigious conventional perfume. Artist Christopher Hanlon® invented a new perfume genre, neither based on traditional top, middle and base notes; nor using regular perfume manufacturing techniques. Christopher adds: ‘I would estimate that 95% of perfumes today are retro in so far as they formulate using the classic 3 tiered hierachy of top, middle and base’. Hanlon’s® revolutionary process allows key base notes to be cancelled as softer notes are ironically amplified, intensely. Add to the equation botanical notes like Australian Bush Potato that have hitherto not been used in perfumery. This bizarre blending culminates in signature aromas that are more wholistic, pure and unique. Christopher Hanlon® invented the process in 1994 using crackpot methods at Paddington Markets which today have been scientifically perfected. Some call it the devotee's raison d'être. Others call it perfection.
His-Storical Note: Based out of Sydney and Geelong today, each fragrance is still weighed, mixed, fermented, macerated and finally hand filtered to carefully remove remnants of the botanicals by Christopher’s own hand. Natural variations occur. Small batch has been a family tradition of the House of Hanlon® since the 1800s.
