Outback Sapphire (a royal prerogative) is a luxurious concoction of Rose Absolute, Jasmine Absolute, Oak, Rosewood and Moss enriched with burning Oud and embalmed with the intensity of Western Australian Sandalwood. Fresh top notes of Lime and freshly cracked Outback Bush Mint set this dark aromatic composition alight. Unconventional hidden sensorial treasures include Amber, Bush Potato and Cardamon. Designed for the connoisseur with a strong personality. Intense and regal. Outback Sapphire is an unapologetic Resinous-Wood-Rose spliced with Cardamon and leather (Oud). Zesty notes of bitter Lime are blended with fresh and sparkling scents from Tuberose and Orchard. A burning Rosewood, Tobacco and Cedar heart. Your crowning glory - a second skin.
This Christopher Hanlon™ Luxury Candle is artisan made from a mixture of natural wax using soy to enhance the aroma. Recommended burn time is 15 to 30 minutes per session. Standard candle safety precautions apply. Keep away from flammable materials (including surfaces), place in a well ventilated area, on a safe flame-proof surround and out of direct heat. Do not leave unattended. Keep away from children. Insider knowledge: although the scent is a signature blend from the Limited Edition Collection the exact formula has been enhanced to work with wax. Crafting a candle scent is quite different to creating a skin fragrance.

Christopher Hanlon® Perfume is formulated using a unique process called Méthode Électromagnétique Fermentation®. What does this mean? As such Christopher’s perfumes cannot be compared to conventional perfumes because notes have been fused displacing various accords and discords. The artist Christopher Hanlon® invented a new perfume genre, not based on traditional top, middle and base notes. Christopher adds: ‘I would estimate that 95% of perfumes today are retro in so far as they formulate using the classic 3 tiered hierachy of top, middle and base’. Hanlon’s® revolutionary process allows key base notes to be cancelled as softer notes are ironically amplified. Add to the equation botanical notes like Australian Bush Potato that have hitherto not been used in perfumery. The bizarre blending culminates in signature blends that are wholistic, pure and unique. Christopher Hanlon® invented the process in 1994 using crackpot methods at Paddington Markets which today have been scientifically perfected. Some call it the devotee's raison d'être. Others call it perfection.
His-Storical Note: Based out of Sydney and Geelong today, each fragrance is still weighed, mixed, fermented, macerated and hand filtered to carefully remove remnants of the botanicals by Christopher’s own hand. Artisan made has been a family tradition of the House of Hanlon® since the 1800s. This craft continues the Art of Hanlon's® perfume making into the future — a timeless take on his-story, bottled.
